SANJIB BHATTACHARYA
date of birth- 13TH JULY 1968.
I am introduced myself as a male Indian classical (manipuri) contemporary dancer. I have had wide performing experience as a solo and group compositions in many prestigious national and international dance festival all over the India and abroad.
I am a senior disciple of GURU BIPIN SINGH, DARSHANA JHAVERI, KALAVATI DEVI for Manipuri Dance and Ex Artist of MAMATA SHANKAR BALLET TROUP and DANCERS GUILD, Kolkata under able guidance of MAMATA SHANKAR and DR. MAJUSHREE CHAKI SIRCAR.
I received Senior National Scholarship, Junior Fellowship, Production Grant from Ministry of HRD and Dept. of Tourism & Culture, New Delhi. Also received Title Award SINGER MONI Mumbai and NARTAN VISHARAD Kolkata.
Sanjeev Bhattacharya, a Master in Bengali Literature from Calcutta University, Two Years Diploma holder in Hotel Management from IAM, Kolkata. Trained Manipuri Dance under the able Guidance of guru Bipin Singh, Kalavati Devi & Darshana Jhaveri. Trained Contemporary, Experimental Dance under the guidance of Manjushree Chaki Sircar & Mamata Shankar Respectively.
